BOOK RECOMMENDATION!

Today I am so happy and honoured to have been invited to share this review of a book by youth change-maker, Sammie Vance, that is so special; a book that I believe will inspire many children to follow in her footsteps of realizing a dream and finding the courage to make it happen.

Inspire The World, A Kid’s Journey To Making A Difference, is a must read for any kid who has a dream and doesn’t know how to get there. Written by youth change-maker, Sammie Vance of @sammiesbuddybenchproject and Illustrated by Talitha Shipman, it’s a fun and creative step-by-step story of how Sammie had a dream and brought it to fruition through a lot of hard work, determination, self belief, and support from her family, her community, and the world at large once she built up a name for herself.  So impressive!

This book is so unique in both its function and it’s presentation. It’s fun and playful and aesthetically very appealing for kids to follow. The layout is brilliant as there is a lot of information packed into these pages that helps you become acquainted with Sammie and her unique way of inspiring the world.  She does this by sharing her huge heart that is bursting with kindness. It’s evident in all of her messaging and comes across as very genuine which is why I took notice of her and her initiatives a few years back on social media.

We would highly recommend this book as a resource for teachers to share with middle schoolers to inspire them to get involved in community outreach.  Sammie challenges others to delve deep and search for what they are passionate about, and to come up with a plan and break it down. She presents a system for kids to follow. What a wonderful example for teachers to share, and parents can also use this book with their aspiring change-makers at home!

So future change-makers, teachers, parents, and anyone else who is committed to making a difference in this world, we highly recommend you check this book out.
