Music has the power to lift us, unite us, and remind us of truths we sometimes forget. I Belong — the brand-new children’s song about kindness and inclusivity from award-winning songwriter and children’s music educator Kim Noller and Grammy-nominated artist Fyütch — is exactly that kind of song.
I Belong is more than just a children’s song—it speaks loudly enough to be called an anthem for children and families everywhere. With its uplifting message and universal appeal, it invites every child to feel seen, valued, and connected. With an infectious beat and heartfelt lyrics, I Belong is a joyful children’s song about kindness and acceptance for kids, families, and classrooms everywhere. The song releases tomorrow, October 10, 2025, just in time for National Bullying Awareness Month.
A Song About True Connection
Every child wants to feel like they belong. Every parent wants their child to know they are valued. And every teacher knows the power of a classroom where kindness comes first.
That’s the heart of I Belong. With lyrics that speak to acceptance and togetherness, Kim Noller and Fyütch remind us all that belonging — not power — is what breaks the cycle of bullying.
It’s a song created especially for children ages 0–14 — but its message resonates far beyond childhood. Families of all ages will find themselves moved, uplifted, and singing along.
“Everyone craves real connection,” says Noller. “People who bully mistake power for acceptance. This song is a reminder that real connection stops the hurt for victims and bullies alike.”
The Story Behind the Song
The first spark came in Boston at the 2023 Children’s Music Network Conference, where Kim experienced a rare, deep sense of belonging. Inspired, she drafted the beginnings of I Belong. But it wasn’t until a year later, when Fyütch unexpectedly reached out about her Falling for Fall album, that the song found its wings.
“Last October, while having tea with my mom before school, Fyütch messaged me,” Kim recalls. “I squealed, ‘Mom, Fyütch just messaged me! How does he even know who I am?’”
That surprise message grew into months of collaboration, creative back-and-forth, and even a student video interview. With Fyütch’s artistry and production, I Belong transformed from an unfinished idea into an anthem ready to be shared with the world.
