CREATIVE WRITING PROGRAM FOR KIDS!

Would you like to study creative writing with our editor & publisher, Lorrie Holmes. She’s accepting applications for her KiDS WHO WRiTE Creative Writing Program! If you’d like to apply to this program, please email Lorrie something about yourself to show off your writing style. Be as creative as you’d like: a short story, a poem, a song lyric, or a comic – even a short video that you scripted out! However you you like to tell a story best is the format you should use to introduce yourself. Check out my two guest blog posts at Kidzworld about Creative Writing & Blog Writing For Kids! I will be mentoring a cohort of 4 students to receive a weekly Creative Writing lesson on Zoom. Each week, my students will be encouraged to submit one piece of writing for review and for my editor’s notes. When students are comfortable, they will work towards sharing their work with their peers for feedback and encouragement. By the end of this program, each student will create a piece of work that is complete (for them) and that they are proud of by and eager to share – whether it be a book, a blog, a portfolio or anthology of prose or poetry, or possibly something completely different!

If you have a story or review idea that you would like us to consider for publishing in our blog, please email our idea or a story outline to our editor, Lorrie Holmes, at lyricalwriters@gmail.com for submission details.
