MEET KIM NOLLER, AWARD-WINNING CHILDREN’S MUSIC ARTIST, SINGER-SONGWRITER AND COMPOSER

Kim Noller is an award-winning, published singer-songwriter and music educator whose joyful melodies and hope driven lyrics have been inspiring audiences for decades. Before becoming an elementary music teacher, Kim performed professionally as a contemporary Christian artist around the country, appearing with notable artists including the Gaithers, Larnelle Harris, Eli, and Margaret Becker. Kim teaches her students to use music as a mood lifter. She believes life’s difficulties may be universal but so is the language of music. Kim has several published choral works with Excelcia Music Publishing and is currently featured in Plank Road Publishing’s K-8 Magazine. Her choral work, Servant of Peace, will soon be available through Indianapolis Children’s Choir Publishing/Beckenthorst. Kim has degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education. She is certified in Kodaly III and was the recipient of the Friends University Benjamin Mevey Teacher of Promise Award. Kim is a 2023 Semi-Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition.

MEET GRAMMY-NOMINATED CHILDREN’S MUSIC ARTIST, SNOOKNUK

“Snooknuk Music is the ultimate music for kids and families to teach kids not only life lessons but also to create bonding moments between children and their families,” Cheri explains. “It makes those tough conversations easier to tackle while celebrating every tiny but important milestone.”

Snooknuk is also committed to helping children develop mindfulness and social awareness through music, creating content that can grow with children from early childhood through the teen years. For parents, that can make music a surprisingly practical part of everyday family life. A song can become part of a routine, help a child anticipate what comes next, or give them words for an experience they are still learning to understand.

For educators, music is a strong pathway into learning, and one that invites children to participate, move, repeat, and connect.

For families, it can also create something even more important: a shared experience. That idea of music as a bridge between children and the adults in their lives is one reason I find Snooknuk’s work so compelling.
