EDITORIAL FEATURES

Each month, Kids News & Reviews features resources and ideas for those who work with and care for kids and also kids inspiring kids directly with their stories and initiatives.

1. Classroom Stories – Education Reporter, Lorrie Holmes, loves to share inspiring ideas about what is going on in early learning classrooms from around the world. If you feel you have a story you would like her to feature, send her a press release! View Classroom Story Here.
2. Early Learning Resources – We are always happy to review toys, books, and curriculum that we feel can add value to classrooms. Send Lorrie a link to your product or a photo and description if you would like to be considered for a classroom review. View Classroom Product Review Story Here.
3. Playful Personalities – As an early learning music educator and children’s songwriter herself, Lorrie is always happy to review children’s albums. Send a press release if you would like to be considered with samples of your music to listen to online. View Play Personality Story Here.
4. Kids Inspiring Kids – If you are a child or teen who is doing inspiring things we would love to hear about it. Past stories we have published include those by Youth Changemakers, Authors, Performers, and even KidPreneurs. Send us a press release if you would like to be considered for such a feature! Before You Submit

We review children’s books that:

• Are written and illustrated by humans
• Are appropriate for children and families
• Offer meaningful, engaging and developmentally appropriate content
• Align with our focus on early learning, creativity, emotional growth and positive childhood experiences

Please note: Submission does not guarantee publication. All books are carefully reviewed for editorial fit and relevance to our audience.

If you would like to be considered for an editorial feature please send a detailed press release to our editor, Lorrie Holmes, at lholmes@kidsnewsandreviews.com. Response times can take up to two months as have are currently receiving a large volume of submissions.

Collaboration Opportunities

Kids News & Reviews is committed to featuring only vetted resources with the goal of providing those who work with or care for kids ideas to contribute to the growth and development of our children. The way we differentiate our editorial from promotional content is as follows:

EDITORIAL

Includes story ideas add to the development of a child including a school, a teacher or select products or services offering something unique and valuable. Although we do review products often, our editor would most often offer this in the form of Editor’s Picks in a compilation. Products are not often featured on their own in editorial stories and need to be booked as sponsored posts.

SPONSORED CONTENT

Includes stories that promote a product or a service that has to be vetted by our editor before being accepted. We only feature up to one sponsored story per month in the form of a product or service. We also book Day In The Life School Reviews in the Metro Vancouver area upon Lorrie’s approval. If you are interested in having Lorrie visit your classroom for such a review, send her a press release so she can review your request.
