HOW TO COLLABORATE WITH US
Every month we are inviting creators, educators, organizations, and young people to inspire children’s learning & development to collaborate with Kids News and Reviews. We do this through three programs:
- Monthly Early Learning Theme Kits
- Playful Personality Stories
- Kids Inspiring Kids Stories
If you would like to collaborate with us, email our editor, Lorrie Holmes, at lholmes@kidsnewsandreviews.com for any of the following opportunities.
1. Monthly Early Learning Theme Kit

Each month, we curate a themed collection of early learning resources for parents and educators.
At the end of the month, the complete Theme Kit is raffled off to a local childcare centre or elementary classroom in the Greater Vancouver region so our editor can personally deliver it.
The winning classroom will be expected to share either photos or short videos of each product being used in the classroom setting so families can see these resources in action and have suggestions on how to use them. Please make sure all photos or videos are faceless – you can show just the products set up in the classroom but no faces.
WHAT’S INSIDE A THEME KIT?
Every Theme Kit includes carefully selected resources that support the development of children through a variety of learning experiences.
Content includes:
- Books
- Toys
- Games
- Music – online access or CD’s
- Curriculum Printables
- Additional Classroom Materials
Do you create resources for parents or educators?
If your resource aligns with our monthly theme and is approved, we will:
- Review it personally.
- Feature it in our monthly themed editorial.
- Create a short-form promotional video for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.
- Include it in our Monthly Early Learning Theme Kit.
Editorial Opportunities

We’re always looking for educators to share innovative ways to teach our monthly themes.
Pitch us your classroom stories about your own:
- Lesson Plan ideas
- Learning Invitations
- Play-Based Activities
- Social-Emotional Learning Experiences
Selected stories may be featured as part of our monthly editorial coverage.
Promotional Opportunities
If you have contributed to one of these themes and would like extra exposure with us, our editor would be happy to explore ideas with you.
